Benny
is releasing a new single in October as BENNY BENASSI.
It’s called WHO’S YOUR DADDY and Benny and Alle's
own versions are accompanied by a fabulous remix by the upcoming producer
known as FUZZY HAIR. A much awaited remix by DAVID GUETTA is also on its
way.
The track contains wild female vocals and is, all in all, a challenging departure
from the melodic sound of BENASSI BROS.
On the BENASSI BROS. front, the 3rd single from PHOBIA is due
to be released shortly. The track is ROCKET IN THE SKY and the
vocals have been re-recorded by DHANY for single release, due to public acclaim
for this startlingly irresistible vocalist.
WHO’S YOUR DADDY and ROCKET IN THE SKY will be released on D-Vision
in Italy, the label that has supported Benny from the beginning, and on
various labels around the world.
PUMP-KIN_
The
first release on Benny’s own label will
be a compilation selected and mixed by Benny himself... news soon...
REMIXES_
Benny and Alle have been busy on the remix front too, reworking tracks by two
classy electronic figureheads. He has remixed BEAUTIFUL by MOBY and OOH LA LA
by GOLDFRAPP.
His most recent remix is of UNCONDITIONAL by THE BRAVERY.

TOURING_
Benny has major tours of
South America, USA and Canada lined up for the autumn, so keep your eyes
peeled.
He's played at Paul Van Dyk’s party in Berlin at E-Werk on
16th September, on the occasion of the Popkomm music fair, along
with Deep
Dish.
He really enjoyed Mystery Land in Holland in August, where he played
in front
of a crowd of 55000 people. It’s the second year running for Benny
and this time he was lined up with the likes of David Guetta and Paul Oakenfold.

PRODUCTION_
Now that Benny and Alle have finished the production of
the Benassi Bros. album, they have devoted their attention to a
new track for Benny himself. The track is called WHO’S YOUR
DADDY and should be ready soon. It’s a raunchy evolution of
the classic Benny sound. Yes, it’s even dirtier and
even more hypnotic than ever before..
Benny has also finished a remix for a very classy American
artist... can’t reveal the name just yet.
The new Benassi Bros - Every single day – is due to
be released for the summer. Another sizzling tune featuring
the irresistible
Dhany.
TOURING_
The big novelty in Benny’s dj sets is represented by occasional
presence of the VJ, SIMO, who works exclusively for Benny. The visuals
add a new dimension to the Benassi experience and Benny plans to
be do more and more dates with Simo in the future.
Benny has been touring extensively all over the world, as usual.
Two events worthy of special mention are the Bal en Blanc party
in Montreal, where Benny played right after the Winter Music Conference
in Miami. This was a megaparty that went on right through to the
following day with a star-studded cast: apart from Benny himself,
Tiesto, Deep Dish, Morales and many others were there.
The other event is Benny’s second Australia tour which took
place in April.

Benny is launching his own record label, to be called Pump-kin Records,
whose purpose is to provide space for upcoming, young artists and
producers working in the field of electronic music. Soon there’ll

is due for release in March. It’s called "...Phobia"
and it contains 12 scorching new tracks sung by Dhany, Sandy and
other extraordinary vocalists.

your three favourite tracks and indicating which ones feature Dhany

Look out for the irresistible track "Who’s knockin'?"
by FB feat. Edun, out on the Dutch label Dance Therapy. The talented
Edun was selected from among the hundreds of demos sent in response
to the “Benny wants you” project. The record has a mix
by Benny and a mix by Ferry Corsten. So it’s going to be hot.
COMPILATION_
The first ever compilation celebrating the anniversary of the groovy
London club, the Gallery, is due for release this Spring on Duty
Free. It’s called “Gallery Sessions vol. 1” and
is a double CD: one mixed by Benny and one by the UK legend Tall
Paul.

AWARDS_
Benny was awarded an EBBA in Cannes, France, in January for the
“Hypnotica” album. The European Border Breakers Award
is given to the album that sells most copies outside its national
borders within the European Union.

RESULTS OF DJ Mag POLL_
Benny
was voted the world’s eighteenth favourite dj, announced in
London at the Dj Mag event on 28th October.
One place behind the American superstar Roger Sanchez and in front
of UK radio and club legend Tall Paul, Benny and his fans have good
reason to be satisfied. Benny is also the highest new entry.

Benny
was in Australia during the first week of October, where he played
to jam-packed clubs all over the continent. On his way back he played
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. So now Benny has spun his disks in all
five continents and at last deserves the title of truly international
dj. He’s off to Canada again in November.

Benny
is touring extensively this summer all over the world. At the end
of June he span his discs in Canada, Central and South America.
The main summer months will be spent in various European clubs with
a couple of nights in Ibiza, too. Keep an eye on the tour

CLUB ITALIANO AWARDS, Italy’s most prestigious awards for

It’s now just about a year since Satisfaction
exploded crossing over to the sales charts and getting mainstream
airplay. I’ve had the opportunity to reach a wide audience
with my Djsets, to travel the world and play in the coolest clubs,
to remix (with my cousin Alle) artists of the calibre of Outkast
and Goldfrapp, to name but two, and to mix the coolest compilation
(Subliminal Session vol. 6) on the house scene. It’s been
a great year and I just want to say to everyone out there who digs

NEW PRODUCTIONS AND RELEASES_
Benny has remixed “Strict Machine”
for Goldfrapp, the track that has an Ivor Novello songwriters award
nomination. Benny’s club-focussed remix has received great
reviews and features on some of the world’s key playlists.

Benny’s alter ego – Bat 67 – has its debut single
out on Subliminal. It’s called “I want you to come”
and is very hard and dirty indeed.
The track also features on “Subliminal Sessions 6”,
the world famous house compilation mixed by Benny this time for
Subliminal. He’s the first European dj to mix this compilation
for the renowned US label. The compilation is out now all over the
world.
Benny has also remixed “Funk a faction”, by Robbie Rivera,
which is a kind of “Funk a tron” meets “Satisfaction”,
destined to add gasoline to the already fiery summer dancefloors.
Bat 67 has remixed a tracks due for release this summer:
“Hot tin groove”, an electrohouse track featuring a
well-known jazz singer, Rava.
The Benassi Bros. Album “Pumphonia” is out in France
and went straight into the top 10 album sales chart. It’s
due for release in other territories soon. The second single, following
up “Illusion” by Benassi Bros. feat. Sandy, is called
“Hit my heart” and features the talented and sexy Dhany.
This track is already a smash hit in France and is coming out all
over the world. Look out for the sizzling video!
LIVE_
Benny has been playing all over Europe as usual.
There have been Subliminal Sessions release parties throughout the
UK, France and Italy. He played at the Gallery birthday party alongside
Tall Paul, Judge Jules and Armand Van Buren at Turnmills in April,
too.
The biggest event in April was definitely the Skol Beats Festival
in Sao Paulo in Brazil. Here Benny rocked an ocean of South American
electronic music lovers. You can see clips of the event on the new

Benny played his first gigs in Russia at the beginning
of the year.
On the production side, “Subliminal Spring Session Vol. VI”
– Mixed by Benny Benassi will soon be in the record stores.
This is the first time that the famous American compliation, soon
to be released the world over, has been mixed by an Italian Dj.
It’s full of exclusive, never before released tracks by people
of the ilk of Dave Clarke, Hector Romero and Robbie Rivera.
The same compilation also contains ‘I want you to come’
by Bat67. Look out for this track!
Benny is also collaborating with the well-known DJ Robbie Rivera
on a forthcoming single, which pays to tribute to both their styles.
There is now a very cool video for the track ‘Illusion’
(Benassi Bros. Feat. Sandy) mingling the featured vocalist, Sandy,
with great computer graphics.
The video of ‘No matter what you do’, the new single
from the Hypnotica album, has also been finalised and features THE
BIZ in a strange minimalist scenario.
There will soon be another single and video from the Pumphonia album,
“Hit my heart” (Benassi Bros. Feat. Dhany).

Benny played his first ever set in Africa in December,
in Tunisia; he also played in Serbia for the first time in at the
Andergraund in Belgrade. New Year’s Eve was spent rocking
the South of France .On 5th January he played for 4000 people at
the Palacisalfa in Rome, and Benny wishes all of you a very electronic
2004.
In February Benny will be playing in Greece and South Africa, for
the first time.

November was another great month for Benny.
He played in four different countries, USA, France, Belgium and
UK, and rocked three of the greatest clubs in the world: in New
York, he played a Subliminal Sessions evening organized by Erick
Morillo’s set-up, in Paris he set Queen alight and in London
he played one of the famous Gallery Friday nights at Turnmills,
a venue regularly frequented by the likes of Fat Boy Slim, the Chemical
Brothers and Roger Sanchez, to name but a few.
On the production side, he had the “satisfaction” of
seeing ILLUSION by Benassi Bros. feat. Sandy enter the French sales
charts and, in the studio, he put the finishing touches to the Benassi
Bros. album PUMPHONIA with his studio partner, Alle Benassi, musician
and sound guru.
Here is a taste of things to come…
He has signed a deal to mix a compilation CD for one of the world’s
coolest house labels… more will be revealed later…AWARDS_
On the awards front, Benny seems to be in the spotlight too. After
“Satisfaction” was voted MixMag tune of the year in
UK, he has been nominated for the NRJ revelation of the year award
in France (competing with Beyoncé who pipped him to post
for the number one spot in UK earlier this year – could it
be time for revenge?) and in his native Italy he has been nominated
for the same award (revelation of the year) at the Italian Dance
Awards to be held in December… and there is gossip that the
prestigious FIMI Italian Music Awards event is concocting something
special for him….
Benny has been nominated for the prestigious NRJ International Revelation
of the Year Award to be assigned in Cannes in January. If you want
